Big Oil wants Gen Z to love them again, so Martha has been tasked with creating a pitch. To the great shock of Wes and Marquee, and anyone who has ever met her, she lives a secret double life as an online Sims 4 influencer – this has inspired her to pitch a Sims style game called “Oyl Lyfe.” Set 50 years in the future, every player is rich because they invested in Big Oil! Unfortunately, Martha’s game does not feature a utopian future, but rather the nightmare that awaits us if we continue to ramp up fossil fuel usage. Also, there’s some weird sex stuff?!
The Curious Case of Carbon Capture
Wes, Martha, and Marquee have been asked to prepare a presentation for their Big Oil client about the newest innovation... Carbon Capture. This isn’t a problem at all because all three of them absolutely, 100% know how carbon capture works! Just kidding – they have absolutely no idea, and only a big whiteboard and their collective brainpower stands between them and losing their biggest client – yikes. They’re saved right at the buzzer when the client realizes Carbon Capture hasn't been successfully invented yet! False alarm. Meeting rescheduled for 2032.
Student oil rig
The Big Oil client has apparently angered a local community by installing a fracking drill on the elementary school soccer field. Luckily, Wes, Martha, and Marquee have a plan underway to turn the community’s frown upside down! They’ve launched a public contest for the students to name the rig, and they can’t wait to read the cute submissions. Unfortunately, the submissions go from bad (“The Inhaler: for the asthma you gave us”) to worse (“Red hands because our blood is on yours”) to...straight up evil when a video submission causes the full team to become demonically possessed.

Zellia Minxet is a lifestyle vlogger who has been asked to promote a new wellness product to her followers – crude oil aka “c-oil”. C-oil is a natural and pure oil from deep in the Earth, and it has so many uses, from skincare to mouthwash. Unfortunately, as she goes through her daily c-oil routine for her followers, she starts to experience some unfortunate difficulties. Her skin is breaking out, she’s dizzy, and her neighbor’s cat has been found dead after climbing in her window?? Zellia is above all else a business bitch, and she is not going to let a few side effects prevent her from finishing this #sponcon. It would take her house exploding to stop her from cashing this check...
It’s about fracking
a classic, all-American country music video with lots of denim, American flags, and a family BBQ. It’s also about the most patriotic of all topics – fracking. Our main character, a country music superstar, proves he knows exactly how fracking works when he sings “shooting hot high pressure water and chemicals into the ground and the water we drink” and NO he doesn’t have any concerns about it. In fact, as he envisions, in lurid descriptive language, the hellscape his children might face in an overly fracked future that he thinks, “you know what, was worth it.”
